At ICTC we believe in a Total Sulfur Management™ business model to meet the needs of our customers.

ICTC Believes Total Sulfur Management is:
  • Leading-edge sulfur removal products
  • Continuous development of new technology (i.e. corrosion inhibition)
  • A technical team to support each dynamic field application
  • A technical team who supports and works with key industry contacts (i.e. ASRL –Alberta Sulfur Research Limited)
  • A supplier who fosters a teamwork environment with the customer to manage the mitigation program in a responsible and cost effective manner

All ICTC sulfur solvents undergo rigorous sulfur uptake testing at both the ICTC Technical Research Center and Alberta Sulfur Research Limited prior to being commercialized for use in field applications.

The ICTC sulfur solvent product line is typically used in the following applications:

  • Batch treating to remove sulfur deposition in production tubing or flowlines
  • Continuous sulfur mitigation via injection through a downhole capillary string installation

The Sulpha-Max product line has the following features and advantages:

  • Sulpha-Max is a hydrocarbon based elemental sulfur solvent that can physically dissolve significant amounts of S8 depending on application temperature.
  • Sulpha-Max can be used in both batch and continuous treating applications.
  • Sulpha-Max does not form emulsions with produced water.
  • Sulpha-Max has a density that is lower than that of most produced waters.
  • Sulpha-Max has a freeze point of < -35˚C.
  • Local dedicated technical and logistics support.
  • Customer – field application troubleshooting assistance.
  • Dedicated field delivery units.
  • Available corrosion Inhibition technology available (<1MPY).
  • Disposal options via third party environmental services.
