Formation damage is usually associated with organic fouling (paraffin or asphaltene), scaling, water/emulsion blocks or fines migration. Through ongoing innovation and research, ICTC has developed a comprehensive line of specialty solvents to mitigate formation damage and improve production.

ICTC has expertise in the design and application of these specialized formulations:

• stimulation solvents for paraffin and asphaltene removal
• mutual solvents for fines control, viscosity reduction, emulsion blocks, acid packages and surface/interfacial tension treatments
• "acid in drum" - complete with corrosion control, anti-sludge, non-emulsifiers and iron control
