Product Uses and Functionality

As mandated by regulatory bodies in many of these oil and gas operations, annular fluids used in suspended, injection, abandoned and packed off wells require the addition of an inhibitor to protect against corrosion-induced failures resulting from:

• Inorganic salt attacks
• Acid gas migration (O2, CO2, H2S)
• Organic fouling

1-Step Pak: The All-In-One Inhibitor and Friendly Freeze Protection

1-Step Pak’s unique patented product design is revolutionizing the treatment application of corrosion inhibitor to:

• Suspended wells
• Injection wells
• Well abandonments
• Wells containing a packer

Whether mandated by regulatory agencies or not, many operators are proactively choosing to put an anti-freezing agent above their water-based annular fluid to protect against casing integrity failures resulting from thermal expansion and contraction. Historically, the anti-freezing agent has been diesel. Due to environment, health and safety concerns, operators are opting away from the use of diesel in this application.

1-Step Pak’s patented ALL-IN-ONE corrosion inhibitor and environmentally friendly freeze protection design, packaged in color coded drums with pre-calculated treatment volumes for all well dynamics, provides:

• Effective corrosion protection to < 1mpy under typical annular conditions
